When I was a child my father set a goal for our family to visit as many of the State Capitol buildings as possible, and we visited quite a few. Most of the time one or two snap shots were taken but not always. These pictures were primarily taken of family members in front of the landmark rather than the building itself. After the kids were grown and gone our parents would occassionally visit another Capitol building on some of their trips and snap another picture.  Some of these family pictures are included in this section. 

More recently I have started taking pictures of the State Capitols focusing on the architctural design and features. We hope to visit them all over the next few years.  State capitols we have phtographed are listed in RED below.  To fill in the gaps stock photos have been used, which are listed in BLUE.  So far we have visited 29 of the current capitol buildings and we look forward to seeing the rest.
