President's Distinguished Scholarship

Established in 1983 by Friends of
Ferdie J. Deering, this scholarship provides $8,000 ($2,000/year
for four years) for an entering freshman. Consideration
given to a sophomore or junior agricultural communications
student if a freshman is not selected. Selection made by the
President's Distinguished Scholars Committee upon recommendation
of the department's scholarship committee. Recipient must
meet the President's Distinguished Scholar requirements. If an
incoming freshman is selected, the award will be granted for a
four-year period subject to a yearly review. |
