COUNTY NAMED FOR: J. Dickens, who died at the Alamo.

COUNTY SEATS: Two - Espuela and Dickens.

COUNTY SEAT NAMED FOR: Same as the county.

COURTHOUSES: One - 1893

STANDING: One - 1893 Romanesque Revival courthouse built of stone. The building has been altered subtantially from its original design.  Building is currently being rennovated (2016).
