COUNTY SEAT NAMED FOR:  Same as the County.

COURTHOUSES: Four - Cora - 1856; Comanche - 1874, 1890, and 1939.

STANDING: Two -

  • The 1856 courthouse is built of logs and was originally in Cora. It now serves as a museum in front of the current courthouse in Comanche.
