COUNTY NAMED FOR:  Confederate General John B. Hood.

COUNTY SEATS: One - Ganbury.

COUNTY SEAT NAMED FOR: Hiram B. Granbury, Confedrate general of the Texas Brigade.

COURTHOUSES: Five - 1867, 1876, 18??, 18??, and 1890.

STANDING: One -1890 courthouse built of limestone in a Second Empire style with Romanesque elements.

RENOVATION: Complete - Rededication October 27, 2012
