The JRB is the Navy version of the Beech Model 18 and the Air Corps C-45.  The plane was powered by two Pratt & Whitney Wasp Junior radials and cruised at 211 mph, carrying a maximum of six passengers and crew.

JRB-1 was a Photographic aircraft based upon the C18S.  It was fitted with a faring over the cockpit for improved visibility.  11 built.

JRB-2 was a Light Transport version based upon the C18S.  15 built.

JRB-3 was a Photographic version, similar to the C-45B.  23 built.

JRB-4 was a utility transport version, equivalent to the UC-45F.  328 built.
